(iii) Female Education
(iv) A Book Fair
(v) Work is Worship
Ans- 5.                                               (i) The Rainy Season
There are six seasons in India. Rainy season is most important season in all the seasons. In summer, we have to bear the unbearable hot weather due to the scorching rays of the sun. The water level goes down and all living being become rasters due to the hot wind blowing all the day round. Everybody feels relief with the coming of rainy season. Ponds, wells and rivers become full with rainwater. Farmers starts to cultivate their fields. Trees come back to life. The air is filled with new vigour and strength. Everything look fresh and healthy during this season. It provides us different types of food grains, vegetables and fruits. Thus, rainy season plays a dominant role in fulfilling our food-items. As such every body awaits this season to come.
                                                          (ii) Pollution
Pollution is the biggest problem facing the modern man. All advancement becomes useless if man does not get the very basic necessity of life. That is fresh air. And only trees can do this service to man. Unluckily man, in his ignorance has so far been destroying this wealth. In fact, he has been digging his own grave. Only recently governments become aware of the gravity of this problem various steps have been taken to keep the environment free from pollution.

An educated girl understands her duties well. She proves a source of great comfort to her husband in times of trouble. She can amuse and entertain her husband. Thus she can keep him away from various vices. Besides this as a mother also an educated wife, is very useful. She can teach many things to her children. She can give them elementary education she would be able to make them good citizens.

I bought few story books. There was a stage where folk dance was being performed. There were also some stalls selling food items. Finally we returned from the book fair.
                                                         (v) Work is Worship
Work is worship. Laziness and dullness are the curse of life. The whole civilization of man has evolved itself only through hard work. All the inventions and discoveries of science are the result of hard work. Regular hard work, progressively improving upon its own findings, has enabled man to reach and walk on the moon. A student who works regularly and systematically shows better results than the one who does not do so. In the same way, a player who practices on a regular basis on the field is much better than the one who does not. Great nations of the world like Japan, Germany and China have emerged strong only through hard work.

Q- 10. Prepare a speech in about 100 words to be delivered in the morning assembly of your school on ‘How students can become ecology-friendly’.
Ans- Honourable Principal, respected teachers and dear friends.
I am Poonam Yadav of class X. Today the topic of my speech is ‘How students can become ecology-friendly’. We have some simple tips that everyone can apply to his life to help protect the environment and save money at the same time. We must turn off our lights and televisions when we leave a room. We can start. recycling plastics bottles. We can also recycle paper, like newspapers. To become environmentally friendly, we must plant trees. Buying locally grown food will support the local market and reduce transportation costs to transport goods from other states or countries. Making gradual rather than rapid changes can often lead to sticking with those changes for longer time. Let’s all become environment friendly !
       Thank you
